AirBridge Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
AirBridge ("we", "our", or "the app") is a local file transfer and device management tool that lets you connect your Android phone to a nearby computer through a web browser on the same network. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may access, how that information is used, and your choices. By using AirBridge, you agree to this policy.
2. Developer Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at: magnifo123@gmail.com
3. Summary
- AirBridge is designed for local, peer-to-peer use on your Wi‑Fi or local network.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not operate advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in the app.
- We do not upload your files, messages, contacts, or screen content to our servers.
- Data is processed on your phone and shared only with devices you connect to on your local network.
4. Information the App May Access
Depending on the features you use, AirBridge may request access to:
- Files and media — photos, videos, audio, documents, and other storage on your device so you can browse, transfer, copy, move, rename, or delete files from a connected computer.
- Network information — local IP address and network state so the app can display a connection address and QR code for pairing on the same network.
- Camera — if you choose to stream or use the camera feature from a connected browser.
- Screen mirroring — screen content when you explicitly start screen sharing.
- Contacts — only when you use contact-related features and grant permission.
- SMS messages — only when you use messaging-related features and grant permission.
- Call logs — only when you use call-log-related features and grant permission.
- Installed apps list — to show and launch apps from the connected browser when you use that feature.
- Accessibility service — only if you enable it, to allow remote taps, swipes, and keyboard input during screen mirroring from a connected computer.
- Notifications — to show a foreground service notification while sharing is active.
- Local app preferences — small settings stored on your device (for example session tokens or UI preferences) using on-device storage.
AirBridge only accesses the categories above when you use the related feature and, where required by Android, after you grant the corresponding permission.
5. How We Use Information
Information accessed by AirBridge is used only to:
- Enable file transfer and file management between your phone and a connected browser on your local network.
- Display connection details (such as a local URL or QR code) so you can pair devices.
- Provide optional features you choose to use, including screen mirroring, camera streaming, contacts, SMS, call logs, and remote control.
- Keep the sharing session running reliably while the app is in the foreground or background service.
- Remember local app settings on your device.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or marketing.
6. Where Data Goes
When you connect a computer to your phone, data is transmitted over your local network between your phone and that connected device. AirBridge does not send your content to company-owned cloud servers.
You are responsible for connecting only to networks and devices you trust. Anyone with access to your connection session on the same network may be able to interact with features you have enabled.
7. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. AirBridge does not include third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Standard device operating system services (for example Android system components) may process data as part of normal device operation. We do not control those platform services.
8. Data Retention
- Transferred files are stored where you save them on your phone or computer.
- Session and preference data stored on your device remains until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or reset those settings.
- We do not retain copies of your files, messages, contacts, or screen content on our servers because we do not receive that data.
9. Security
AirBridge is intended for use on trusted local networks. Connection security depends on your network configuration and the features you enable. We recommend using AirBridge only on private networks you control and ending sharing sessions when you are finished.
10. Children's Privacy
AirBridge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where applicable.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You can control AirBridge's access to your information by:
- Denying or revoking Android permissions in your device Settings.
- Stopping screen sharing, camera streaming, or the host sharing service at any time.
- Disabling the accessibility service if you no longer want remote control.
- Uninstalling the app, which removes locally stored app data from your device.
Depending on your country or region, you may have additional rights regarding personal data. To exercise those rights, email magnifo123@gmail.com.
